I know the actual procedure is quick. Most of my friends say that you can’t even have enough time to get yourself a cup of coffee before the doctors are calling you back in.

I am way past the breastfeeding stage however; I did enjoy giving that gift to both my children . Theses people quoting chapter and verse about HIV do not seem to understand the privacy acts involved with people who DO acttually have it and the dignity that thet are entitled to. ( I am a long time health care workere yes) Had I been that poor woman at the park, I believe I would have slapped a harrassment suit against Mr. Wright. Does he suppose that they test the entire water level of the pool for HIV (from possible other contaminations — such as breast milk in a bottle, as mentioned by the mother)? What about parent who may indeed be HIV positive who have open sores, or chose to urinate in the pool themselves while with there children? Oh, I’m never underwhelmed by small minded people armed with big words on a piece of paper. Keep up the good fight!

Oh. My. God. I have really heard it all now. Un-freaking-real. Have they recently been sued due to their waters being contaminated with HIV positive body fluid? Because, truthfully, that is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. If that had been me, I would seek to expose that fool (and the whole organization) all the way to the White House! Surely NPR aired something AGAINST that policy (or whatever you want to call it). Surely… I hope. How annoying. People are so damned dumb!
